Mary Lester

Mary has been expressing her artistic nature ever since she was introduced to paint in preschool. She studied art formally at Augusta State College, Georgia Southern, and Ringling School of Art and Design. Privately she studied under Louise Shipps and Jack Bailey, winner of the prestigious Prix de Rome award four consecutive years.

Dreams, meditations, and Shamanic journeys feed Mary's art style. Her imagination, quest for fun, and love of color and patterns make her artwork uniquely hers. You'll find her work at Pluff Mudd Gallery in Bluffton.
